The Hitch mounted motorcycle caddy motorcycle towing device simply slides into a conventional 2" receiver hitch and cranks up and down vertically. The down position is for loading of the bikes front wheel and the up position is for travel. Large half circle wheel cage cradles the This product is made in the USAbikes front tire. The unit allows 16 inches of vertical travel. The motorcycle Caddy features 3 ratcheting tie down straps that wedge the front tire into the wheel cage for a positive firm hold on your bikes front wheel. Never have to waste valuable storage space with a motorcycle trailer again. This motorcycle hauler has a weight capacity of 500 lbs. Additional securing straps may be needed for larger bikes.

Motorcycle Caddy Features:

  • Unit fits standard 2 inch / class #3 & #4 Receiver hitches.
  • Units uses 3-1500 lb. built in ratcheting wheel straps to wedge the front tire securely into the V shaped wheel cage.
  • Unit has built in jack. cranks down for loading, and cranks up and locks for road travel.
  • Front tire wedges in the V shaped wheel cage and holds bike upright for you while you tie it down.
  • Made from all structural square tubing, main jack 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square tube / wheel cage 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" square tube.
  • Unit works with hitch heights 12" to 22" Hitches lower than 12" will require an lifting adapter

    Extra notes:

    • Shaft driven bikes are easier to tow vs. chain driven bikes
    • Drive chain may need to be removed for long distance transport
    • The carrier allows the bike to lean when turning like the leaning of normal driving
    • big bikes will lean a great deal, to reduce the lean the wheel cage should be as low as can safely be driven (the higher the bike, the more it leans)
    • For big bikes, hooking additional straps nearest the center of the handlebars (near the tree) and then furthest out to the edges of the bumper will provide the greatest stability when transporting
