 A step up for the original Big Boy, the Big Boy 2 provides an extra level of versatility not available on any motorcycle loading ramp! The 2-piece ramp is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum and is available in 4 different sizes, starting at 8' long by 38 inches wide and consists of two 19 inch wide ramps. The loading ramp is designed to load many different types of motorcycles into trucks and trailers of all different sizes. The Big Boy is held together with two quick connecting support brackets to keep the ramp together and prevent ramp flex. Using these connecting brackets is easy! With the pull of a pin the ramps can be separated and folded in half with the heavy duty hinge system for storage. The Big Boy 2 folds to half its length and sits only 5.625" high. The 12° offset in the hinge provides for extra clearance for lower vehicles.
The unique Big Boy 2 ramp is perfect for one person loading operation! You can drive your vehicle right up the ramp or walk it up! The ramp end features a 3-3/4" solid full attaching lip/hook end which is much stronger than ramps with fingers. The plate lip also allows for more even weight distribution eliminating damage to loading surfaces. Featured at the other end of the ramp are tapered feet with an extruded traction surface providing a gradual transition from ground to ramp and provides great traction on wet or muddy tires. The extruded foot has a built in radius on the bottom that will pivot on different vehicle load heights and can be safely used on 10" or higher load heights. The loading surface consists of serrated cross rungs spaced at 3-5/8" apart which provide additional traction. The Big Boy 2 comes with two heavy duty cam buckle straps to use on vehicles to prevent the ramp from kicking out when loading or unloading.
